Expanded metal (or called expanded steel) is metal sheet whose length is multiple times that of  raw material formed by cutting, expanding and extending metal sheet with precision machines. One of its great advantages is that it saves a large amount of material cost.

Raw materials: hot-rolled carbon steel sheet as well as other metal (such as stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, copper).

Surface treatment: Anti-rust surface treatment such as hot-dip galvanizing, galvanizing, baking paint, anodizing and PVC dipping, depending on their purposes.
                              
Flattening: The undulant surface of expanded metal is one of its advantages. It has extensive application. If needed, it can be machined into flat products by using flattening machine.

Light expanded metal: (0.3mm-1.2mm) thickness of steel sheet

Features:

5. With ultra fine mesh, it is used as a new type of decoration material.

Application: All types of precision air filter, precision gasoline and machine oil filter, stationery, all kinds of basketry, concrete reinforcement, special precision industry, electric mesh, mesh door, mesh frame for battery, protective mesh for appliances. It is cheaper than feeding punched metal.

Intermediate expanded metal: (1.4mm-3.2mm) thickness of steel sheet

Application: All kinds of mechanical safety fence, partition, outdoor leisure tables and chairs, mesh frame,  fence, vent, pot frame for all kinds of purposes, and interior and exterior decoration.

Heavy expanded metal: (4mm-8mm) thickness of steel sheet

Features:
1. Easy application
2. With firm structure, it can carry heavy goods
3. With good anti-slippage, man can work while standing on the metal
4. Good light transmission and ventilation 
5. Low cost

Applcation:It is extensively applied in factory, mine, shipping, air way on construction site, concrete reinforcement, road laying, gully cover, and outdoor bar.
